Folding carton is the largest application for flatbed die cutting: pharmaceutical cartons, food packaging, cosmetics boxes, gift boxes and sleeves. The typical job runs 250–450 g/m² white board, with creasing, embossing and sometimes foil stamping on the same sheet.
For this work we recommend our 1060 platform (YC-1060A/C) as the volume workhorse — 1060×760 mm max sheet, 350 T pressure and up to 8,000 sheets/h. If your boxes need the inner waste stripped automatically, choose the YC-1060MPB-II, which adds a full stripping and blanking station so sheets come out ready for the gluing line.
For premium packaging that also needs hot foil stamping or deep embossing, the FH/FED series (1060/1300/1450) combines die cutting with foil stamping in one pass — up to 6 foil rolls running in sync, 900–1000 T pressure and independently controlled heating zones for consistent registration.
Smaller plants or shorter runs start economically with the YC-1050/1080: the same flatbed technology at lower investment, still fully automatic from feeder to delivery.
